Shannon has an extensive background in the service industry, with 18 years of experience. A progressive career development exposed her to multiple facets of the restaurant and catering business—including staff development and guest relations.
Prior to joining The RK Group, Shannon owned and operated an event management company in Arizona. Shannon got her start in the industry with a Phoenix based restaurant and catering franchise. First, as catering manager and progressing to operations manager, her role eventually developed into supporting the Director of Operations for the fast growing company.
Shannon holds a Bachelor of Communications from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She was also an active member in Texas, volunteering with Expedition Balance, a nonprofit agency providing an alternative treatment to for veterans with PTSD through meditation and yoga practice.
Shannon maintains a “hands on approach” to ensure guests achieve all their desires at the Cosmopolitan.
